The Glitterball has become legend in Tucson. A night of glitter, glam and Dionysian excess. Come celebrate 1970s glam rock and all that shines with your host from Uranus, Kitty Quasar: it is reputed that this year he is beaming in not just himself, but his band to play a live set of music.
For the first time, Kitty Quasar’s sister Titania, queen of the moon of Uranus that is of the same name, will also be hosting the event.
Also playing live music areScorpion vs. Tarantula from Phoenix, and Sugar Stainsfrom Tucson.
Dance the night away to your favorite glam rock tunes between the live sets: the likes of David Bowie, T-Rex, The New York Dolls, Sparks, Milk n Cookies, Zolar X and other glam rock favorites.
The Celestial Bodies of Uranus, an alien burlesque group, will be exposing exotic anatomy and glitter fairies will baptize the willing with glitter bombs and glitter showers (if you promise not to be born again).
